As long as it would be a reason able contract I would not be upset. But I doubt he is the answer to any of our issues. He would be more depth for an edge rush but I don't see him as a good fit, he would be very part time or playing out of position. We need another pass rushing DT.

Connor Barwin is a good pass rusher in an aggressive 3-4 defense. He was miscast as a DE in a 4-3 last season. I think he would get us 6-8 sacks this year. He's in incredible shape and hasn't missed much playing time in the past handful of years. I also think that Barwin is a great leader and locker room presence. If someone can get Philly to love him as quickly as Barwin did I'd like to see how he would fare in GB.

I would be very happy to see us sign him! Having an OLB rotation of Perry-Matthews-Barwin is better than Perry-Matthews-Elliot/Fackrell.

Injuries are going to happen, and keeping people fresh is key, especially late in the year. Guys like Perry and Barwin aren't elite, but they are definitely capable. Add another talented rookie and depth like Elliot, Fackrell, and sometimes Mathews isn't bad, as you said! Perhaps another inside pass rusher to round out the group with Daniels.
