The Falcons aren't better than us today. We just didn't show up ready to play.

I'm not even saying it's over at haltime yet, despite the fact that it's the NFCCG and we as a team have yet to even show up. But I regard this as Mike's "signature" game, just as the humiliation against Kaepernick was Dom's signature game.

I said it last week, just because we win, doesn't mean shitting ourselves for half the game is OK. Self shitting becomes a habit.

I'm still predicting that if we get THREE MORE STOPS, we can win this game. The defense is capable of that, but first they have to buy a ticket and come to the stadium.

At least we're not Cleveland. What a great season. Overcame 4-6. Who would've thought?

We're close. Full faith in our GM and HC. Just need a great draft. Draft and develop will work. Just keep things the same. Playoffs 8 years in a row! Wooo!

We won the North after 4-6. Future is bright. Guys just need to get healthy.

We took out 1 seed but we're clearly inferior to the 2 seed we lost to by a point when we were more injured.

Just wasn't our day.

That should cover the baseless excuses we're going to see.

The missed FG was upsetting. The fumble by Ripkowski had me thinking this just wasn't going to be our game. Then the multiple opportunities Matt Ryan gave us and we didn't capitalize? Yeah, it's over. Then half time came around and what was it a 3 and out? I was thinking just get this over with. Let's move on. We don't have the firepower on defense (or scheme) to stop Falcons.

I sure as hell hope the Packers don't go with the whole "we beat ourselves" garbage because they ran into a far better team and it showed.

It's okay to accept it. Falcons are better than the Packers. Accept that and lets figure out how to make us better than all 31 teams.

Lots of holes to fix during the off season, mostly on defense. They'd better get started at it tomorrow morning, because there's no time to waste in the ever-changing NFL.

Yes. Atlanta is better. Better management. The ONLY way we get better is change but we're averse. Just like we're averse to so many things that would make us better.

Our dinosaur needs to go and all the complacency with him. It's someone else's turn.

This was a typical McCarthy choke job!
Again he brought a team that wasn't prepared to play.
I guess that will be blamed on the fog much like the 2011 meltdown against the Giants was surely due to the death of a coaches son.
On the other side of the coin, despite Ted Thompson's heavy investment in the defense, there are very few of the defensive players worth keeping let alone the defensive coordinator.
Although Dom didn't have much to work with thanks to Thompson's poor drafting.
Time for change!!!!!!🤬

If thhe Falcons didn't "give us opportunities" as you say, then you could claim they were the better team. We not only did not capitalize on hose opportunities, but we gave opportunities right back.

NFCCG and Mike can't even get his team to show up. It's a decade long pattern. Normally they at least show up for 2 quarters per week. Who knows, maybe that would have been enough today.
