NFCCG and Mike can't even get his team to show up. It's a decade long pattern. Normally they at least show up for 2 quarters per week. Who knows, maybe that would have been enough today.

In games where the Packers have no chance, McCarthy has always had his Packers prepared for what's in front of him. 2010 against New England, Matt Flynn almost won us the game at Foxboro. The Falcons game in late October was supposed to look like what it was today. But nope, they covered.

So you're gonna let one game define a decade long pattern? It's the first time we lost in TWO months. Uh, we won the Super Bowl six years ago. The percentages weren't there. McCarthy and his staff had to draw up a gameplan when he didn't have three of his receivers practicing. Mike didn't miss a cheapshot field goal. Mike wasn't the one who fumbled the ball in the redzone. Mike isn't the one covering Julio Jones and Mohammed Sanu. Mike can't make the referees throw flags at the defenders constantly hitting Rodgers late.

What's fucked up here is he's gonna get all this lame blame, and he's also going to be the first one to accept all of it because that's what kind of guy McCarthy is. This is all on our Trump-voting conservative front office intent on saving money and building stadium features when they should be giving the best player in the league the best opportunity possible to leave with more rings than anybody.

The missed FG was upsetting. The fumble by Ripkowski had me thinking this just wasn't going to be our game. Then the multiple opportunities Matt Ryan gave us and we didn't capitalize? Yeah, it's over. Then half time came around and what was it a 3 and out? I was thinking just get this over with. Let's move on. We don't have the firepower on defense (or scheme) to stop Falcons.

I sure as hell hope the Packers don't go with the whole "we beat ourselves" garbage because they ran into a far better team and it showed.

It's okay to accept it. Falcons are better than the Packers. Accept that and lets figure out how to make us better than all 31 teams.

IMO we should get the ball first; I think rodgers does much better when we have a lead - I think he likes to extend that lead. Instead of the other way around - when we are trailing doesnt usually work.

Go out and get real CBs will be a great first step.
No more basketball players. No more wasting the first pick on projects. No more trusting street free agents to guard the best WRs in the league. At least not until they have actually earned the right.

IMO, Coach McCarthy has done his best with the personal that Ted Thompson provides him. Yes , he does sit in the draft room and offer his advice, but it's Ted Thompson that makes the decisions.

Replacing Ted Thompson and Dom Capers is the way to go.
