I'm just a homer fan here but they are fun to watch again! Let's hope they get the help they need to make the playoffs. šŸ˜

It took a lot of trying, but the Packers can win out and still miss playoffs. Beast was saying it in chat, but failed miserably in explaining or citing a source of information. The best I got from him was "BSPN" is stupid or something like that.

I really hope they make the playoffs because I think they could do some damage. And because as a fan I believe that's what we should hope for. šŸ™‚

But you can play around with combinations of Detroit, Washington, Atlanta, and Tampa Bay wins and see how they could miss the playoffs. 🤬

The source was Beast, which is correct a higher percentage of the time than ESPN (source for this is Beast and any reasonable person that understands ESPN gets a lot of stuff wrong).

Also didn't explain it because it's fairly simple to figure out. If you try....

Even if the Packers win all of their games, if the Lions win all their non-Packers games then the Lions win the division (unlikely but not impossible). And the wild card teams all basically have two game leads (because of tie breakers) on the Packers with three weeks to go, so two 90 them would have to lose two games in three weeks for the Packers to have a chance there.

To sum it up, the Packers need to win out and have the Lions lose one of their non-Packers games.

The Packers got NO help this week n

EVERY team, fighting for a playoff spot, that was tied or ahead of them won.

All The Packers can do is focus on Chicago and see where they are at after next week's games.

Luckily as fans we can look ahead.šŸ˜€

The big game coming up is Detroit @ The Giants.

Before yesterday's games, I would have said whoever wins , The Packers would benefit.

Now I got to really jump on The Giants bandwagon for a week

Fantastic game yesterday.
Could it be The Packers are putting it all together at the right time?
We will see.
I'm just gonna keep on wearing my Green and Gold glasses and my "HOMER" SWEATSHIRT and enjoy the next 3 weeks!šŸ˜ŽšŸ˜ŽšŸ˜ŽšŸ˜ŽšŸ˜Ž

Thank you.
I ended up doing something similar since my request was rudely ignored by beast. I think we're gonna be in. I went and did game by game on expected results without bias lol. I always want to make bears, Vikings lions and Cowboys lose haha

All they can really do now is win out and see where the chips fall. W17 won't mean much if we can't beat the bad news Bears and Vikings at home the next two weeks. I don't see Detroit with a banged up Stafford going on the road for two games and beating New York and Dallas back to back. Could it be for the fourth season in a row, the Packers final regular season game could be for the division title? The Wild Cards are probably coming out of the NFCE and/or NFCS this year, so if the Packers are gonna make it, it's probably going to have to be as a division winner.

The Lions almost lost at home to the bears and now their star qbs hand is messed up. If they're able to go on the road and knock off both the Giants and cowboys I'll eat my hat.

Dallas is 2 Games ahead of both NYG and Det; but both have the tie break over Dallas. My fear was that when Dallas plays Det the game would be meaningless to Dallas. Unless NYG and Det tie next week; Dallas will need to win 2 more to secure Home field.

Next week Dallas has to beat TB to give us a chance at Tie Breaks [strength of victory] with TB.
