Another Raven taking a visit to the Jets

The New York Jets are not finished trying to raid Baltimore for Rex Ryans former players. Free agent safety Jim Leonard is scheduled to visit the NY Jets on Saturday. Most people believe Leonard will wind up signing with the Jets.

A couple of signings to catch up on.

Free agent safety Sean Considine signed a two year, $3 million deal with Jacksonville. The fourth-year pro has started 17 games during his NFL career.

The Vikings re-signed TE Jimmy Kleinsasser to a three-year deal worth $9 million. Kleinsasser was a second-round pick of the Vikings in 1999.



Ok, maybe the last bit isn't to important, but some people on here seemed to be pretty excited about Leonard. Gives us a smaller chance, if we even where interested at all in him.

I don't think we were interested in Leonhard. we have 3 safeties and at least two more players who have played/can play safety.

unrelated. Glad to see Kleinsasser get paid, him being a ND boy. I actually met a few times at track meets when i was a kid.

Mike Vrabel was traded to the Chiefs for undisclosed draft picks.

And Fred Taylor inked a deal with New England.

Kerry Collins Re-signed with Tennessee.

And Maurice Morris RB (Seattle) signed with Detroit for 3 years.

Philly is looking to deal Lito Sheppard to the Jets:

New York and Philadelphia are completing a trade that will send cornerback Lito Sheppard to the Jets while the Eagles will receive a 2009 fifth-round pick and a 2010 conditional draft pick.
