I think he needs to go to a team where he can really be the OC to prove himself. Find someplace with a defensive head coach where he can run the full offense.

One guy, who's a bit old, but I've wondered if he might get one final shot at being a HC is Vikings HC Norv Turner... he's gotten Sam Bradford to look good when others were not able to.
I could be wrong, but I felt like the Bills made a big mistake when they let Jim Schwartz get away... he had that defense perfectly set up and they were dominating... only to bring in Rex Ryan who completely switched the system and the current players who perfectly fit the old system, did not fit into the new system. Of course maybe Ryan can still prove me wrong on that one.
If I was an owner, I would take a close look at Kyle Shanahan... he seems to be able to adjust and have success most of the places he has been. I don't know if he's ready to be a head coach, but if you're willing to wait he could grow into it... especially if you have a good GM already and he can get a good defensive coordinator to come with him.
