I just saw this guy on ESPN's first take.

Gilbert can put one hand on the floor and the other can touch the top of a door (huge wingspan). Gilbert, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound senior from Chino, Calif., led the nationally-ranked Spartan defense with 21.5 tackles for loss and 9.0 quarterback sacks.

watch this wild video he is standing in a 3 foot pool and he jumps out and lands on his feet. Very Impressive.

Yeah, he's a guy I've looked at and think we should take him in the fourth round. Would play DE in 3-4.

Ok Jarron is on First take and he has a 7'1 wingspan. He has a vertical of 39 inches on ground. He squats 635lbs and dead lifts 655. He says he should be able to do 30 reps of 225. O-line usually scores well with 20.

This is will be someone fun to watch at the combine.

He is shooting for a 4.6 or 4.7 40 yard dash.

Wow, very strong and athletic. Seems like a good pick to be a DE in our system.

Hey I have a 7'4" wingspan.. but fall short on everything else.. not by a hell of a lot in the 225 reps though.. lol.

If Lambeau Field ever floods during a game, this is the first guy I'd want out there.

He's numbers are impressive, but his college career must not have been good if he's only ranked in the mid-rounds. That's the only concern I have with him.

I see on espn they say he is projected 2nd maybe 1st round.

I just found this link to another forum but it has different youtube videos about him.

San Jose State's Jarron Gilbert. 6-5, 280 pounder switched from defensive end to defensive tackle during the 2007 season.

As a soph he played end and had 32 tackles, 7.5 TFL and 5 sacks. As a junior he had 39 tackles, 7.5 TFL and 5 sacks even though he was learning a new position. This year he really emerged as a force at DT; 51 tackles, 9 sacks and a whopping 21.5 TFL.

2/14/2009 - PRO POTENTIAL: DT Jarron Gilbert -- The national leader with 22 tackles for loss last season is one of four Spartans headed to the NFL Scouting Combine.

The son of former New Orleans Saints' offensive tackle Daren Gilbert, Jarron has incredible athleticism for his size and could be just scratching the surface of his potential.
