Packers GM has more NFL-caliber receivers than he can keep, and a big need at defensive line

Telling you man. Davante for Marshall Newhouse. It could happen!

The only people who think we're loaded and deep at WR are Packers fans. If we can fleece some team that'd be great.

Abby to Pats would make most sense. BB loves dealing. Abby is the only one who makes sense to trade for both sides. He's good and someone could use him.

Would LOVE to get a 6th or 7th for Adams if I could choose who is going

Teams will watch the waiver wire for some of our players. We will watch the waiver wire for a fatty on the Dline, and that's about all that's happening here.

I made it about three sentences through the article before I realized it was click bait speculation with no substance. Janis will learn how to do a back shoulder fade before a trade for our WRs happens. Uffda is right, this abundance of talent at WR is a product of our own wishful thinking.

One thing to keep in mind, if two teams are desperate enough are they really going to risk a cut being able to choose from 30 other teams? Gotta make a deal if you want to guarantee you're going to get the guy you want. That's why Wolf sent pick for Keith Jackson. Otherwise, Jackson would've never come to Green Bay.

I highly doubt Ted is targeting anyone who is better than a bubble roster cut, at which point you're dealing with dime-a-dozen talent that may not make the active game day each week.

I understand what you're getting at, but I don't think Ted's cross hairs are on transcendent acquisitions that would warrant the downside of a trade.

I sure hope our offense is clicking in Jacksonville, because that suddenly becomes a trap game if we don't have any rotational guys on the Dline.

Again, why Time of Possession is so important and why it's what we've been working on.

No team will trade the Packers anything for a WR not named Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb. And even that is iffy and if you ask why, the answer is James Jones, Greg Jennings, etc ...

The offense and quarterback MAKE the receivers in Green Bay. You think the NFL doesn't know this?

Let's see:

Jordy Nelson: Coming back from a very serious injury and he is 32.
Randall Cobb: He is very good if he manages to stay healthy but only plays the slot.
Dropante Adams: He is average with Rodgers, he can be really funny under David Carr or Blaine Gabbert.
Ty Montgomery: His ankle is not good yet, unproven and unhealthy.
Jeff Janis: Broken Hand, in 3 years could only learn one route.
Jared Abbrederis: He can get concussed from sun exposure, runs good routes, never give him an insurance policy.
Trevod Davis: Allegedly very fast but has shown nothing in preseason.
Geronimo Allison: Slow receiver with a funny name that runs polished routes.

And we are so loaded we could make a deal? Sorry but this is too funny.

Zero2Cool (13h) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (17h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (17h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (18h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (18h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (18h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (18h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (18h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (18h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (18h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (18h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (18h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (19h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (19h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (19h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (19h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (21h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (21h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (21h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
