And if he doesn't sign the deal he can't make any money on jersey sales, think he'd pass that up?

The Packers cant make any money off his name or likeness either, plus remember he gets money from the Jets jersey sales.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Well his Jets jerseys out sold any Packer jersey by far. I believe it was the highest selling jersey for the year.

This kind of comment is why some question whether you are a fan of the Packers. Why do you single out the Packers? It outsold EVERY NFL jersey last year. And, seriously, is that a surprise? Everyone knew that was going to happen, EVERYONE.

You're not hurting anyones feelings or telling anyone something they didn't know happened or wasn't going to happen. It is, Brett Favre afterall. One of the most likeable icons in the freaking world. OF COURSE HIS JERSEY IS GOING TO SELL OUT WHEN HE WENT TO A NEW TEAM, ITS SOMETHING NEW. Just like buying the PINK 4 jersey, etc. Not to mention he went to one of the largest markets in the freaking league.

Genius...

As i have stated many times i am a true Packer fan but then i also don't put on the blinders and think the Packers don't mess things up or come up with outrageous predictions. But whatever Zero you locked my Fred Taylor thread because it showed up the Packers front office. But whatever its your site.

Ps

OF COURSE HIS JERSEY IS GOING TO SELL OUT WHEN HE WENT TO A NEW TEAM, ITS SOMETHING NEW. Just like buying the PINK 4 jersey, etc. Not to mention he went to one of the largest markets in the freaking league.

Like he had a choice he was not wanted here anymore.

he locked it cuz it was a Fred Taylor thread YOU created, then YOU decided to take it up a level and compare Fred to Brett

then proceeded to talk Brett stuff in a Fred Taylor thread...

thats why it was locked..

Sometimes you should just step away and examine what is happening and WHY it is happening.

We know your a Pack fan...But I think your hatred for Ted Thompson and MM far out weighs any random you have

It showed up the Packers? No, it did nothing of the sort. If you'd like to 'show up' the Packers, start a thread based on that. Don't try to be covert about it and make a Fred Taylor thread then twist it into hate on the Packers thread.

Now you're taking a thread about Brett Favre's retirement papers and whining about a different thread being locked.

Remove your blinders, this is OUR (all of us) website, I simply pay for it.

If we don't have anything further to add to the retirement paper convo, don't comment in this thread any further.

I still don't think hes done, I'm with alot of the media and i will believe it when we reach week 8 of the season.

I still see the theory that is floating around work.

Brett waits till the Jets sign a few free agents and then says he is coming back which would force the Jets to release him for cap reasons, and off to Minny like he wants so bad.
