Why are there so many rules in the NFL? It bothers me.
For instance, I just read that the catch in the Patriots game, the fourth and two play, even if reviewed they'd have to determine when the player established a 'catch'. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?
What's so hard about this? If a player has the ball in his possession and its caught, why does it matter the specific point it's assumed he caught it even if he's knocked backwards?
That just bugs the shit out of me.
Football shouldn't be this complicated. It shouldn't be so sissy driven with these rules.
If you can't handle getting hit, GET OFF THE FIELD. That goes for quarterbacks especially.
