Yep, Ted's time is still a week or so away.
When teams like Chicago realize nobody is going to trade for their players they don't want or can't afford anymore start releasing them.
Don't know why everyone is acting like free agency is over, crazy money time is over, now cones the fun time..

Even guys like Tahir Whitehead and Rolando McClain are off the board.
There are still two players out there who could make for some very interesting options, though. Bruce Carter was a very good ILB when the Cowboys played a 3-4 defense. He's sucked every year after that when playing in a 4-3.
That's 3-4 Carter seems to be so long ago that teams don't remember or don't believe he still has it. It would be a real Ted Thompson signing, though.
The other one is Nick Farley. He generally plays well in contract years, so if you manage to get him on a 1-year deal, combined with the fact that he's being passed over in FA, he might play with a chip on his shoulder and be a bargain.
As to Ladarius Green... I would've loved to add him to our roster. Pittsburgh gets a bargain, because San Diego looks like it's making moves on emotions, rather than sense and reasoning. With Keenan Allen, Ladarius Green and Travis Benjamin, they could've had their receiving group set for the coming 6 years.
