Brown, 25, feeds on hamburgers for energy the way Popeye eats spinach. Brown apparently would go into a local Burger King every night after practice and get a double Whopper with cheese. Eventually, the restaurant chain named a hamburger after him: the Gilbert Burger.
The hamburger is a double Whopper with double cheese, double lettuce, double tomato, double mayo, double onion, double ketchup and, as the manager of a Green Bay Burger King said in a telephone interview, ''no pickle, because Gilbert doesn't like pickles.''
