True... but relevant facts are even more fascinating.

1) The injured reserve doesn't carry all the injured players... clearly TE Cook, RB Starks, CB Randall and many more have been injured for the Packers and have not had anything to do with the injured reserve list. But this method of counting injury doesn't count them.

2) This method also doesn't factor in the value or depth of the player(s). The Packers have had a number of starters injured... Shields, Randall, Cook, Matthews, Ryan, Martinez, Lang, Lacy and probably more... all starters... are the injures on other teams a lot of their starters?

Too bad there aren't easy numbers to find about how many players missed games due to injury that were not placed on injured reserve.

Do we think the Packers are the only team to have placed players on injured reserve and released them? No, other teams do it too. Enough with the damn excuses already. The training staff is NOT a problem. I swear some people don't even understand what a training staff does!

If we want to spew venom (and apparently that's the only way some people find any happiness) we should spew it at the STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING staff because that is where you can actively condition players to minimize the RISK (yes people RISK) of injury.

I understand this season sucks and the Packers are sucking, but stop being sensationalized clowns with our criticism. We are PACKERS FANS, not Bears fans, not Vikings fans. Let's act like it!

Again, we're talking more of a strength and conditioning staff thing, NOT a training/medical staff thing. I think we're so upset over the utter disappointment of the Packers we are just blindly firing shots and throwing noodles on the wall hoping something sticks.

I would be curious to see a statistical analysis of injuries leaguewide. I'd bet dollars to donuts that Green Bay's injury rate isn't nearly as anomalous as fans think. We just notice Green Bay's injuries more because we focus more on this team.

For years it was the offensive line that was a turnstile, last year was WR and I believe LB (maybe it was the year before), this year is CB and RB (I count Montgomery as half a halfback. Quarterback?).

But I don't think it's normal to have so many injuries at so few positions... like 4 of the top 5 CBs, or 2 of the 3 ILBers, all the true RBs on the rosters, etc. That does not seem normal. But it's not the only time it happens either... like last year the Packers had a lot of WRs injured... and I remember one year a team (I believe the Dolphins, but I'm not sure, it was a while ago), couldn't keep CBs healthy enough to get through the games.

They converted Quinton Dunbar from wide receiver to cornerback just to get by. Their other starter was Will Blackmon.

They also had two games with their top four tight ends out (two on IR, Reed out for two games, Culliver out for three games overlapping with Reed).

My roommate is from DC so I have some vague awareness of their team. They finished the offseason banged up to the point they didn't think they had a corner or tight end left entering the season.

Zero2Cool (1h) : They didn't return. They didn't even leave! ;-)

TheKanataThrilla (8-Mar) : I could actually see Seattle inquiring about Willis.
TheKanataThrilla (8-Mar) : If we took a flyer on a QB, I like Kyle McCord out of Syaracuse. Keep Willis definitely, but don't turn down a good trade.
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : RB Kareem Hunt as well
Zero2Cool (8-Mar) : Tyreek Hill also arrested before or during Chiefs time for assault.
Martha Careful (8-Mar) : Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy was arrested for assault. They are now even more likely to supplement the WR position
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : So weak I had to say it twice!
Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : But it feels like a weak QB draft class

Mucky Tundra (8-Mar) : Gotta say, didn't see Geno getting traded from the Seahawks

Zero2Cool (25-Feb) : Gutekunst and Jaire Alexander’s agent, John Thornton, are meeting this week in Indianapolis to determine the future of the Packers’ 28-year-
Zero2Cool (25-Feb) : Gutekunst says Mark Murphy told him he can trade their first-round pick despite the draft being in Green Bay.
Zero2Cool (24-Feb) : Packers. 🤦
Zero2Cool (24-Feb) : One team.
Zero2Cool (24-Feb) : One team petition NFL to ban Brotherly Shove.
beast (23-Feb) : Seems like he was just pissed because he was no longer the starter
beast (23-Feb) : Campbell is right, he's rich and he doesn't have to explain sh!t... but that attitude gives teams reasons to never sign him again.
