I am still amazed at some of the posts on this site.
According to some, it seems that the Packers SUCKED 46 of the last 50 years. After all, they didn't win the Super Bowl during those 46 years.

Now.....if Ted Thompson "sold out" to win the Super Bowl next season, (Which even if he DID sell out, thats NOT a guarentee that they would win it) then what happens after that? The same pople that are constantly moaning here would be complaining because Ted "sold our future for one loust shot at a Super Bowl!" You KNOW that would be the case!
So any way you look at it, in some people's eyes the Packer organization can do no RIGHT.
Look at the many teams that tried to buy their way to a championship. Most of the time, it fails miserably.

This org doesn't maximize the now as it should and soon it will be repeated even here when this era ends with one SB appearance. It's always struck me as ironic how so often things that fans just fight and rail against today become the very viewpoints they come to embrace later. I saw it with Brett Favre and we'll see it with this regime. I'll try very hard not to say I told you so.

Now I have to listen to all these morons talk about how "we lost, because of the injuries."

Sick of this team being LESS than the sum of the parts.

Fuck you Mike. Even if there's a miracle come back.

It amazes me New England has been to 5 straight AFC Championships. Plus, they've been there 10 out of the last 16. So many of our fans celebrate our success and talk of how teams would want to be us. Why would anyone want to be us when you could be New England.

This begs a question...if we have comparable QB's, then why is New England in 5 straight AFC Championships and we have 5 straight playoff exits with ONE NFC Championship visit? Coaching, players, or management? All 3? One or more of them is responsible for us not being like New England as we all know the QB determines so much of your success. Clearly, we're sorely lacking somewhere if not everywhere else.

Actually Packerfans show their greatest class and grace in the way they take defeat and in supporting their team even when 4-12; this is what others see as special in a packer fan, it is what it is about.

Also, several others here have won many things in real life; our self-worths dont solely depend on the Packers winning. Yeah, we all got bumbed-out on Saturday night, but not to the point of beating the dog. BTW, I haven't heard your dog bark in a few days. I guess if I never won anything in life, maybe my self-worth would be more dependent on the Packers winning, not that inveterately whining about it would somehow cause them to win. And I'd have mixed feelings being fan of a winning belicheater; what is the point of winning if you gotta cheat to do it.

And now when you can find no one else to argue with you turn to arguing against your own arguments. "Comparable QBs?"

The difference of the 2 teams comes down to one thing and it is very simple and very obvious: CONSISTENT quality QB play in playoffs. NE has a consistent clutch team-driven QB making $7M less allowing for 1-2-3 other good players on the team. Switch the QBs and GB has 2-3 SB titles and maybe and additional 1-2 SB loses. Simple!

Double ha ha on the self worth. I derive no self worth and have won more than my fair share of things and tasted some great highs (without drugs) personally. As a competitor who sold out completely to win at anything he ever did it's what I expect to see in guys who are paid millions to play a child's game. That isn't really too much to ask. Your allegations are the reverse of the intention.

I'll agree with you on the money issue...that is very very important. I used to point that out that SF and SEA would fall back to the pack when they had to pay their QB like we did. Not fully sure I believe in the Brady vs. Rodgers thing. Would have to go really spend some time looking. New England is a better team all around and organization... not so sure it's just the QB as you allege.

One thing you and I seem to have kinship on is our disdain for diva QB's. I couldn't stand Brett for that and am starting to feel the same toward Aaron.

If you judge the Patriots the same as you do the Packers, then New England is a terrible failure.
Just making it to championship games but not winning them is still losing, right?

Here's something we should see from our coach, but we don't. Fans (most) follow the conditioning of the leaders of the org they follow. Too bad we can't get our HC to say something like Mike Tomlin said:

“I’m disappointed,” Tomlin said. “That’s just an honest answer. I think we all are. We appreciate the support that we get from others, the acknowledgment of the fight and all of that. But, we go into the journey with that understanding, that it’s going to be difficult, that’s it’s going to be a fight, that a fight is going to be required. We set out to be world champion. That was our goal. We meant it. It’s not us this year, so there’s disappointment.”

--- Hmmm. He's not "proud" even though Ben was hurt and Antonio Brown and, LeVeon, and DeAngleo were out? No excuses. He realizes the Steelers season was a failure. When will our HC and fans realize the same thing here?

If Mike McCarthy is truly Pittsburgh tough he sure doesn't act it. Our HC and our fans would do well to emulate Mike Tomlin and not the boobs running our org who are satisfied with losing and proud lost in those tiers of happiness.

beast (14h) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you
wpr (22-Jan) : Z, glad you are feeling better.
wpr (22-Jan) : My son and D-I-L work for UM. It's a way to pick on them.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you. I rarely get sick, and even more rarely sick to the point I can't work.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic

Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Oh snap!!!
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : Nah, you see Lions OC leaving to be HC of Bears is directly related to Packers.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ohhhhhhh Zero is in TROUBLE
packerfanoutwest (21-Jan) : Zero, per your orders, check Bearshome, not packershome
Zero2Cool (20-Jan) : Then he'll land with another team and flourish.
