You think timing doesn't have anything to do with Rodger's "below his average" season?
Yes, Nelson dropped some passes in SB 45. But he immediatly followed the drop up with a big play. It wasn't drop after drop after drop, like we saw this year.
Aaron Rodgers had timing with Nelson, Jones and Greg Jennings. That's what playing long term with guys can do.
Look at how Jennings dropped off the face of the earth after he left the Packers? And James Jones too.
Having a top tier QB can make a so so guy into a star. But Aaron Rodgers didn't have much time with guys like Abberderis and Janis, to get to know what they would do when a play breaks down. And James Jones was a big help, but obviously lost more then a step, and without Nelson and Jennings in the lineup, made his warts show even more.
