What part of, McCarthy is not a good coach, you all don't understand? He's a frickin idiot. Hope he gets fired. And there a lot of coaches out there that are better than him. Gruden, Shannahan for starters

Why do people always bring up Packers teams of the past that didn't have HOF qb's, as if that is somehow a good comparison to today's team? Those teams stunk because they had no quarterback, not because the coaching was bad. When you have a quarterback like Rodgers your expectations better be pretty stinking high. The fact is we've been lucky as hell to have Favre and Rodgers back to back over a 20 year period and all we have to show for it 2 SBs. The Giants have done the same with Eli frickin Manning

How many coaches are going to have bad success with a quarterback like Rodgers at the helm?
Answer: Hardly any

He's got the 70's and 80's correct though. Dark, brutal days they were!

They shouldn't be naming streets after Holmgren and McCarthy just for winning 1 super bowl a piece. Not with the talent both men squandered. And I won't leave out the Sherminator on this ridicule either, not having Brett and Ahman Green in their prime and didn't even sniff the NFC Championship game. Epic failure by all three men.

Why would you want them shut out in the playoffs? I mean, just so a man can lose his job? It sucks that you can't better control your blood pressure because of things you haven't any control over but to want your team to get blasted in the Playoffs? The worst thing to happen is your team winning the playoff game?

I'm with you on being tired of his same "clean it up" and "correctable issues" speech week in and week out, but shit, I want them to win the next four games!

I just dont see a HC out there right now who would be as good as MM. Sean Payton maybe if he didnt commit to New Orleans again.

Its a case of sticking with the devil you know and stability.

As for McCarthy, he is a GOOD coach, but does that mean he is the BEST coach for the Packers? I look at the coaching assignments and it looks like a clusterfuct of disorganization. I wouldn't mind a new face and I think the team could use a new voice. I'm not emotionally invested in either direction.

So what is it? Bad success or underperforming? The majority of the teams in the league wish they could have the kinds of success the Packers have had.

Do Packer fans seriously think we're the gold standard of the NFL or something? šŸ˜• We're straight up squandering nearly 2 decades of great QB play, but hey "so many teams wish they were us."
