I could not really give a hill of beans who wins the Pro Bowl, but one thing I wish and hope for is that Green Bay's contingent has been doing their job in Hawaii OFF THE FEILD....... Selling Green Bay Of Course.

My friend Hazer, would probably say it would be a waste of time and effort for Collins, Harris, and Woodson, but I hope they are doing a great JOB SELLING PLAYING IN GREEN BAY. It would make Ted's job a little easier.

However, I think it goes beyond that. any time you get that many leaders and pro bowlers in that atmosphere, I would hope that it would be a priority for Harris, Chuck, and Collins to sell Green Bay. To take away the myth that Green bay might as well be Greenland on the world map of the NFL.

There are 11 free agents in Hawaii I believe. Yes some may be tagged, but still.... Sell Green Bay.

I wonder if the Packers as an organization mentioned this to them. Asked them to bring the Positives Of Green Bay To Hawaii?

What do you think? Did They?

I hope so....

And is Woodson still at the Pro Bowl even though he's not playing in it?

Not sure, I would hope so.... but players still talk to players. As a Pro Bowler... His word has weight and validity.

I'd think they'd do their best to sell GB. I mean, it's in their own best interests, too. They want to win, so try and convince other great players to come in and help them win.

I don't think the players get to go to the pro-bowl unless they are playing in the game, which Woodson isn't. (unless maybe they pay their own way of course)

I think it would be hard for the Packers defensive players to sell it too much because they don't know most of their coaches or the system yet, other than maybe talk to some guys that had these coaches in the past. (Like Peppers and the DL coach and the Steelers DBs and the DB coach, and anybody that has worked for/under Capers)

But they could sell GB the city and MM. But something tell me they don't like the cold, and somehow that's gonna be bought up..... anyways I hope they sell it too.... I think Woodson would of done the best job if he went because he went to GB as a FA and found out it's a lot better than what people say it is.

Really....

On average how many REALLY COLD Games a year do the Packers have to play in in Green Bay? Three... Perhaps Four? How does that compare to Buffalo, Chicago, New England, Denver, KC.

Is it that much more of a difference?

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'
