I didn't see AR as "sulking". He saw the video, how open Cobb was, and was mad at HIMSELF for missing it. Of course he had a defender all over him (like he did all game) and didn't have the time (like Peyton Manning and Cam Newton had) to find him.
Give Rodgers protection like the las 3 Qb's we faced had, and he'd light it up.
But when you spend most of the game on your back, it's hard to NOT "hear footsteps".
Our O-line needs to get it's "you know what" together and start doing their jobs.

Not playing up tempo and this short passing game is by design and its function is to preserve the strength of the D over the season. Personally, I hate this innovative strategy; but MM didn't consult me. And, I think unfortunately, it got validated by being 6-0 and #1 scoring D.

AR is sabotaging this plan, though I can't say its 100% conscious. His unhappiness is reflected in his decisions, leadership and timidity in throwing the ball. When MM took the leash off; AR started to play. If the leash to go back on v. Detroit and AR keeps sulking and refuses to give his entire soul and execute the offense, Tolzein needs to play instead.

I was hoping MM was going to unleash the offense after bye; but with 2 loses and 2nd half starting against a division foe, maybe MM takes off the leash this week.

Nobody is accountable.

This has been Ted and Mikes 10 year plan to just win enough to keep the fans spending their money.

They realized early in 2010 that they needed to win another Super Bowl to keep their jobs.

Ted immediately contacted The Commish who in turn sent a memo to every team stating no matter what happens during the regular season, when it came down to playoff time THE PACKERS WILL BE IN and WILL WIN THE SUPER BOWL!

This is nothing new, every year is scripted.
The outcome of every game has already been determined.

I guess we will all have to wait another 8 weeks, then another 4, to see if The Packers once again are THE CHOSEN ONES to hoist The Lombardi Trophy.

Adams doesn't seem to be capitalizing on his golden opportunity, albeit, he's been injured. Montgomery seems like a better prospect, especially with regards to YAC. He's a bigger version of Cobb. Lacy should have been on a weight loss program over the summer, because he is very sluggish. And it is time to get Ripkowski more snaps.

Defense, I just cringe when they are on the field. That drag route is always open, and we are extremely weak up the middle. And we still don't have a coverage inside linebacker. How that keeps being ignored in the draft or free agency will need to be explained to Packers fans someday.

If you have a quick guy in the middle of the field, you can do a lot to combat the problem. You have a guy that can cover, play run D, and blitz. If it is within the 5 yards, he can disrupt the route and ruin the play before it can develop. We used to see similar with Woodson and it seemed to work, so why not now?

The other side of the coin - do we have the right guy to make this work? If Hyde were better in coverage I would say yes. Either way - I don't see any reason not to try this for a few plays and see what happens. If we see a huge lead in Detroit, it would be an opportunity to try a few new ideas.

This post's comments bring up something that we've seen since preseason and I am curious to hear your responses. Is Hyde regressing? Are his multiple duties on the team causing him to be less mentally sharp on both accounts? I have been concerned about this since the preseason game against the Eagles.
