R-E-L-A-X is correct, it’s just one loss, we’re 6-2 and exactly right where we need to be. We lost B-B road games against 2 very average teams, who at that moment were hot [13-0 combined], so what. In 96 we lost similarly to KC and Dallas; in 97 we were soundly beaten by the worst team in the league. Sometimes players, groups of players or teams play bad, it is nothing to get the undies in a knot about.
We got to see some depth: Goodson a second nice game; Ryan looked great in his first real game time.
The only concern is that just like in 2000, this could be the beginning of the end and we’re not going to know it until we look back on it in 6-8-10 years. In 4thQ Cobb was wide open and Aaron Rodgers with solid protection threw INC way behind Cobb on a cross and the dorfuss announcer said, “AR had to throw to behind Cobb.” And for 6 Qs Aaron Rodgers has sucked the media/AR idolaters blather lies about “the receivers not getting separation.” Packer fans are passionate; but can be kinda dumb; they fell for this steaming pile of bullhooey for the 7-8 years of Brett Fraud’s career!
It’s exactly like Crosby 2 yrs ago; Aaron Rodgers has lost “it.” He can correct “IT;” but not if he gets placated and pampered for his bullsh!t like Sherman and Peabody [the GM and Coach 2001-2004] did for Fraud. Even on long TD throw to Cobb; Adams is WIDE open, for easy throw to gain 10-15 yards; instead Aaron Rodgers goes for the very hard throw requiring perfection, which was unlikely to gain more than throw to Adams.
You must look at Rodgers’ demeanor in the huddle and sideline before and after 4th Q. When your leader thinks he’s above the coaching and sulks, it affects EVERYONE and this moody mope is affecting practice too. A mediocre player allowed to strut around with “I trust you; I don’t trust you” bullsh!t will destroy a team.
