Playing hurt is a critical part of the game.
It's only moronic for Cobb to play if his shoulder is unstable; that is if there's a material greater risk of injury than he'd have if he was 100% healthy. And this is regardless of his production.
He took one big shot to the shoulder and a couple of smaller ones. When you got an AC joint its hard to reach up.
If Cobb was not faking that "hanging" arm after that first hit, that means the AC Joint flexed and didn't look like it limited at all for the rest of the game. So it hurt like hell [as expected]; but was fine in a few minutes...that is the sign of a less than 100% healed AC joint; BUT A STABLE ONE.
My faith is restored in Dr, McKenzie.
