I think this is Whites year to stick.

He put on 10 lbs from last year and has been very good all TC.

The biggest knock on him has always been he wasn't strong enough to get separation or throw blocks for other guys downfield.

He has improved at both

Of all the bubble wr's, I think White would be the most likely to get claimed off waivers.
I guess we will find out soon.

I like White. I just don't think he's as good as Abbraderis. He's probably better than Janis at this point, but Janis has a higher ceiling.

As the 5th or 6th WR, special teams play is more important than actual WR play. So of those who are battling for that last spot, who will be a bigger contributor on ST?
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I don't hate him, I just think he could hula hoop through a cheerio, that's all. How much action does the 5th and 6th receiver get anyway? Just another non issue in my mind, but please, continue the discussion.

I think his diminutive stature may be a reason in some folks eyes.

another thing to note,

in terms of grading, when you run a route and are left wide open for a TD as White was, it really does not mean much.

white scored 2 TDs off of 1 blown coverage, and 1 defender who fell down, and gave up an easy INT because he did not come back to the ball.

there is more to grading receivers than stats.

Coming out of college, Abberderis was graded higher by GB staff as well (drafted), which gives him -some- points. And I think we have a lot of people who want the Badger to make the team.

that said, White's health status alone puts him above that other white guy.

I've been scouting White in the pre-season. He is a super-lock to make the team, no doubt about that.
He is a good route-runner and he is smart to handle signals and communications at the LOS.
He has a very strange and dangerous tendency to "watch the play", this means if he sees the ball in the air or somebody carrying he might just stop flat and watch the play, this is precisely what happened in Tolzien's INT, white stopped his route to watch the action and Tolzien decided to throw the ball where White was supossed to end his path. Epic fail.
Uses his body very well as a shield against hard hits or when falling.
Has some concentration problems he might be "off" for 2 or 3 plays after something important happens like a TD.
The best ability of Myles White is that he can change directions very fast, in short to mid ranged passing downs he can create enough separation in reduced space to convert the 1st down.

I like White, he is better than many #2 WRs in other teams.
