Why are fans quick to dismiss Myles White?

What the hell is up with the fans quickly excluding Myles White? All the guy does is work his ass off and catch the ball.

Maybe a new thread is warranted here, but what the hell is up with the Myles White hate? All the guy does is work his ass off and catch the ball.

I think there may be a tendency to judge him on years past, I know I've been guilty of that. He has looked good this year.

How in the hell could anything I said be considered hateful? All of these guys work hard and catch the ball that's nice.

I don't see how that is hate even in a hyperbolic context. Myles White is a marginally talented receiver fighting for a spot at the end of the roster. Putting other players on the roster over him or pointing out that fact is not "hating".

Why keep a WR that is broken and unavailable instead of one that practices and performs?

Personally, my feelings is the guy has done everything asked (I'm assuming here) and performed. The only question I have is what can he contribute on Special Teams? I feel when you get down to the 4th and 5th WR spots, you have to show potential and an impact on the special teams unit.

Maybe fans feel Myles has hit his ceiling as a WR and offers nothing we can't get from someone else on Special Teams? That would be my guess.
