My favorite meal is:

A perfectly grilled 16oz. Prime Rib (pink), sauteed Onions & Mushrooms, a baked Potato with Sour Cream, fresh baked Sour Dough Bread with real Butter, and a small garden Salad with French Dressing. Ice cold Beer (I like Miller High Life), Desert is optional, but I do like Strawberry Ice Cream !

What do you Like to eat ?

I'd rather have a 16 oz Porterhouse, medium with sauteed Onions & Mushrooms; a Lobster tail, a baked potato loaded, and a salad. Skip the dinner roll.

Me, I like Bear meat scorched black as night. Really enjoy it in mid September.

These days give me a sugar snap pea stir fry with chicken...heavy on olive oil, garlic and special seasoned salt, and pepper. A little parmesan as well.

Used to be big into Dakota's type of meal...loved pancakes, waffles, etc. Prime rib. etc.

Call this the Decadent Hedonist meal...

One dry Old Raj martini with two queen olives while cooking.

Boursin-stuffed baked mushrooms with fresh basil.
Seared foie gras with toast triangle and a poached quail egg.
Cajun salmon tartare with celery and cabbage slaw.

Grilled lobster with melted butter and Cajun mayo.
Corn on the cob chubs boiled in Zatarain's shrimp boil
Greek tomatoes (halved yellow and red grape tomatoes, feta cheese, and green onions, marinated in ponzu sauce.
8-cheese mac-n-cheese (sharp/extra sharp cheddar, mozzarella, fontina, Gruyere or Emmentaler or other good swiss, parmesan, asiago, blue, Velveeta).

Spare ribs, slow-smoked (approx 8 hrs), Memphis style (Wade's "secret" rub)

Iced tea (unsweetened, with lemon)

The World's Greatest Pecan Pie (Mom's recipe with the secret ingredient) (if room; yeah, right)

Snifter of good European brandy (Armagnac, Maciera (Portugal), Ararat Naira (Armenia)).

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

While grilled and roasted meats/seafood are fabulous, I also love good vegetables. Preparation is the key to well prepared vegetables. Corn, string beans, potatoes, carrots, black-eyed peas, collard greens, sweet potatoes, onions, and more. I grew up with a family garden and still freshly prepared vegetables remain among my favorites.

Fresh baked bread, OH MY, with real butter !

My father in law used to buy a half cow. I wish I could do it that way, but I don't have a freezer. Only the fridge one.

dfosterf (27-Jul) : 100 million would be 539 million as of Fridsy
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Heck, they could have taken a hundred milliion and invested in DAVE inc. last year (semi random, humor, but real)
dfosterf (27-Jul) : Beer brat and ticket is where the money comes from
dfosterf (27-Jul) : The 40th is Titletown Tech itself. This is a pet project of both Ed Policy and Mark Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Maybe a low flying drone
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Did Savion Williams run into a goalpost or something?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
