Things are getting ugly in the tech sector.
I sincerely hope none of you folks are tech industry employees who are affected by this latest round of bad economic news.

Yooper - Almost everyone I know is either panicking or near panic. Scary times for this industry.

Wonder about some of the other folks on the board. I know I'm not the only one in this sector.

I just got a raise and we've been hiring. Not that things are good but there are blessings to count... so far...

But... things overall will get better in the long run.

What is the procedure for letting someone go in the Tech Industry?

I suppose since I'm a software developer I might have to worry, but I'm the only VB developer employed. Hopefully it stays that way!

I spot typos instantly, no matter how dense the text that I'm reading. I'm not sure it's possible to hide a typo from me. That's why so many of my posts have "Edited by" notifications on the bottom. Sometimes I wish I were blind to them.
