Think of this more as an It’s a shame than a Thumbs down: Former University of Wisconsin wide receiver Jared Abbrederis, who suffered a concussion during the first practice of training camp back on July 30, once again did not practice. Although McCarthy said recently that Abbrederis had been attending meetings, and he has been spotted in the locker room multiple times, he still hasn’t gotten the go-ahead to resume practicing. With a history of concussion/concussion-like symptoms at UW, the longer Abbrederis is sidelined, the more disconcerting it becomes for a player who earned Rodgers’ respect and faith very quickly last year as a rookie before suffering a season-ending knee injury in camp.
