I'm not sure why Finley ran so poor there. He was clearly faster than Rodgers could ever dream of being. Will have to look into why his 40 time was so poor.

EDIT: It was kind of fun reading this old Texas Longhorn's forum thread on his combine performance. Finley was pretty much what these guys said he was. Said it looked like JF had no clue how to run a 40 and was not prepared or into it at all.

I think Finley had a higher ceiling, but he was always so inconsistent. RR is young so the jury is still way out there, but I think he will be a good player. If he can become a consistent chain mover and red zone threat he could easily eclipse Finley's injury shortened legacy.

These ratings I see of our players is very similar to how guys rate women after they've been drinking all night. Those ratings are way off.

The only reason you speak of him as an afterthought is because you didn't want to draft him. Our GM has a great track record of drafting pass catchers in the second and third round. Why would I doubt him before giving the kid a chance to play?
