Never mind what Jennings wants. Bringing him back now would just stunt the growth of Janis and Abbrederis. I'd much rather have either as the 4th WR and the other as the 5th anyway.

I was a big Jennings fan when he was drafted.
I even bought a Jennings # 85 jersey.
But I never really warmed up to him during his time with the Packers. There was something about him that just didn't feel right to me.
Then his end days turned ugly in my mind and now my dog wears the 85 jersey on game days.
I don't want him back.
Please don't do it Ted!

I think jennings definitely has enough left in the tank to be a solid #3 somewhere, as been suggested Miami would be a great place for him to end up. Or perhaps another contender if he was willing to sign a friendly contract. After his big payday with the Vikings part of me thinks he'll seek out a playoff contender with a good QB this time around.

If he would agree to be our #4 receiver behind Adams and mended fences with Rodgers the Packers would be back to having the best WR group in the NFL. Janis/Jared can wait a year or two.

Honestly I don't think him and Rodgers like each other very much. I also assume he feels slighted somehow by not being out #1 receiver after his performance in the super bowl.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
