In other words, if the Packers opponent has a Good to Elite quarterback, they are screwed!

If we lose the Super Bowl, we screwed over the NFC, because the Seahawks would've had a better shot at the Pats/Colts.

If we lose against the Seahawks, we're obviously the weaker team and only got this far because of an easy schedule and luck.

It's always like that, because sticking to a point is easier than saying you're wrong.

I should know. I was banging Jerry Hughes' drum so hard in 2010 that I still can't admit that Bulaga was the better pick.

Anyway My 2 cents says that the Packers are currently pretenders with a caveat, Rodgers left calf. All things being equal the packers would win a close battle with Seattle at home. Without 12 being able to run takes away 33% of His ability factor. Their Denense has one glaring weakness that I see, they have problems stopping a good running game, See Beastmode..first game rushing total of 207 yards

Bottom line, He's going to be a sitting duck when the Hawks bring their blitz packages. Because Seattle has strong corners they match up well on the outside giving all blitz's more success. the GB running game seems to always start out each game strong, only to slowly fade, because of play calling?

Anyway, I will be watching, and cheering that the Packers prevail. My Superbowl pick is still alive....GB V NE. Just be sure that if you dive from the cliff that you get enough clearance to avoid the rocks and hit the water..[aiee]

I haven't been able to see much of the Packers this year.

Based on yesterday's game, clearly they are better than I thought. Peppers gave more than I thought he would when acquired. Same with this year's draft. The defense ended up being better than I thought it was (e.g., Guion IMO proved better than Raji would have). So did the OL.

I still am going to argue that "dominant," not "contender," should be the standard. And I still think the OL and the D aren't good enough for that.

But have they show themselves contenders this year? Absolutely. I think Seattle is the better team overall, but I think it's a FG better, not a TD better. And if a 60-yard FG is needed for the win, or any FG (which is a good bet IMO), Mason Crosby pulls it off.

And if they can manage to get past Seattle, they should IMO be the Super Bowl favorite.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I'd feel a lot better if our heavily Rodgers dependent team had a healthy Rodgers going into the defending champion's stadium. The NFC championship game has a recipe for disaster all over it for the Packers, but wouldn't it be awesome if we pulled this one off? Nothing to do now but let this game be played.

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served

dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt ā€œice coldā€
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm šŸ¤” re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
