I've always disrespected Jason Garrett just as much as anyone.

An overrated 3rd stringer who pulled out some bullshit games against us in the 90s (with a little help from Jerry's friends,) doesn't do his job, only doesn't suck shit due to being surrounded by former HC's as assistants, playing bullshit games with Jerry to get a good contract, all that shit.

But he came out today and manned up on the question of the refereeinng. Granted he COULDN'T say jack shit after last week. But still. After that Fail Mary in Seattle Wilson and Carroll talked ALOT of shit about how they deserved that. Fuck them.

I actually have a little respect for the way Garrett came out and conducted himself in the postgame interview vis a vis that question.

My blood pressure is just now going down after seeing my second favorite team lose to my favorite team.

Jason Garrett gets knocked; Jerry Jones gets knocked; But the fact is they build and coached a team most of the "experts" pissed on into a contender.

Just the same, Garrett did fuck up big time on 3rd and 1, throwing long instead of handing it to Murray late in the first half. That Packer FG after the Cowboy miss was the turning point of the game IMO.

As we've learned in the past, the best way to keep a controversial call from costing your team a game is not be in a position where a controversial call can cost you a game.

They also ray Murray into the ground this year.

Romo has always been a pretty decent QB. That OL has a lot to do with their success. Give any pretty good QB that amount of time and one of the best WRs in the league and good things will happen in the passing game. Have a pretty good RB and give him the holes that line can open and you have success in the running game.

This has been the formula I've been advocating for our team as well as it seems quite simple. Give Rodgers a killer line in front of him and watch him pick the other team apart.

Murray will never have another season as good as 2014. This was his magical year. It's likely all downhill from here. That doesn't mean he won't have many more GOOD seasons. They just likely won't be as good as 2014.

As I have said, though, for this year, I'd sell the farm to grab Melvin Gordon in the first round - who IMO might just be to RBs what Rodgers is to QBs.

I disagree about Murray being downhill from here. It's a matter of injuries and wear and tear, and he didn't seem to get beat up too bad even with all the carries. I do think, though, he's a product of his line to a great extent. He'd have about half as many yards running behind the Packer O Line.
