“I’m disappointed with how I played – that’s what it comes down to – that’s on me,” Scott Tolzien said. “But (switching quarterbacks) was the right thing to do, it jumpstarted our team and got us going.”
Whether Tolzien is under center, or wearing a headset and holding a clipboard on the sideline, the team knows he’s an asset to have on the team.
“He came up to me and said, ‘Go get ‘em, good luck,’” Matt Flynn said when asked what Tolzien said when the switch was made.
“He was one of the first people to talk to me every time I came off the field. I’ve got a lot of respect for Scott. He has played very well under some adverse conditions for him. He’s a good guy to have on our sideline.”
