Zero, when white America is put into chains, whipped, and made to do excruciating manual labor for room and board OR rounded up and put on little sovereign nations of the worst possible fucking land this country has to offer - then we can scream reverse racism justifiably. Until then - SHUT THE FUCK UP - we are not oppressed in any way shape or form.

The people of color were the ones oppressed as this country's wealth was made off their's and the backs of the poor white trash. If you can't wrap your head around that kind of thinking and understand the dynamics of the mistreatment of those people and the lingering effects continuing today, than I feel sorry for you. You should go back to college and relearn some World History.

I have accused you at times, Zero, of not participating in discussions of substance, or just coming through with witty one liners, but you really outdid yourself in eloquence - and relatively fair and balanced too. I honestly don't even know who Shaun T is, but whatever.

The "white man's guilt" thing simply doesn't fly - except with the sickest of the sick, as demonstrated by his reply to your post.

As for the original "thug" thing, which I either didn't read or barely read originally, it doesn't really seem like Sherman was even trying to turn the word into a racial epithet. He was just kinda justifying his thuggish on field behavior by running his mouth. Going back a few years, my first use of "thug" in sports applied to the Detroit Pistons - in particular, Bill Laimbeer (hey, he's white! how about that?) - and later to Michigan State and Izzo. Both of them IMO expected and usually got favoritism from the officials because "that was their game" - commit 70 or 80 fouls and get called for 25 or so, while the Badgers or Bucks or whoever would commit maybe 20 and also get called for 25 or so - just to keep things even.

Now you could say (and I guess you DID say) roughly the same is sometimes applied in life in general, and it is maddening in a sort of reverse racist way, and the "white man's guilt" crowd would say it's deserved or whatever, but that really is neither here nor there.

The most PERTINENT point is WHO twisted Sherman's words to make it seem like "thug" equated to putting down black people, as opposed to putting down merely perpetrators of thuggish behavior. That "who" in here, of course, is Dakota. However, I refuse to give him "credit" for an original thought. Rather, I suspect he dug it up from some lame leftist source trying to stir up trouble and trying to piss all over America - because that's just what leftists do hahahahaha. Ironically (or maybe not so ironic), in doing so, the left in general and our boy in particular, betrayed their own sick and nasty racism by portraying black people as thugs.

Truth is you will not find any race that was not cruel to or owned slaves of another race. That is a fact and I know you're wise enough to know this so why you pretend otherwise is befuddling.

Based on my experiences and observations interacting with minorities is minorities do not want special treatment of any kind and certainly do not feel it is owed to them for cruelties enacted by ancestors from centuries ago. Everyone, regardless of race, sexuality, appearance, age and what have you simply want the same opportunities afforded to them as the next person.

Many years ago I held the door for a gentlemen in a wheel chair and very rudely he snapped at me "I don't need your help!" instantly I snapped back with "Sir, I didn't hold the door because I felt you needed help. I held the door because it's what I do regardless of who is behind me". Then he said something that really confused me, he said, with a big smile on his face "Thank you!".

Some might want to label me insensitive for snapping back, so be it, but bottom line is he, just like everyone else simply wants to be treated as an equal person and that is what he was thanking me for.

Unfortunately some will inconsiderately and disrespectfully extrapolate my words and make harsh cruel statements about me without even knowing enough about me to do so. The hypocrisy with such is disheartening.

Sins of the past are not irrelevant.

They are, however, of the past.

We all have sins enough today to damn us. We don't need to add assignment of blame rightly assigned to those already dead.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

The huge huge majority of them are just like anybody else - Good and Normal, not to mention pro-American and in a lot of cases, more moral and better Christians than a lot of white people - which makes them dead set against the CRAP your side puts out to sickly CHANGE our Christian American way of life - abortion, homosexuality, the rest of the hallmarks of liberal thought. And in the realm of TREATMENT, most blacks and hispanics, just like most whites of all income levels just want the God damned government to leave them alone - stay the hell away with its stinking taxes and regulations.

THAT is why in ever increasing numbers, OUR side is gaining among minorities and in general, and why your sick hateful anti-American LEFTIST crap and the politicians advocating it are going DOWN.
