As for my predictions - MM reverts to his '07 ways. We go for a lot more 4th downs, leaving fans speechless, but you know what? We convert most of them. MM, fearing job security (and finally reading the hundreds of emails I've sent him), gets even more aggressive than he was in '07. We make enemies because we continue scoring TDs with 14, 21, and 28 point leads in the 4th Q.

TT, also fearing job security, boldly grabs a stud DL guy that changes EVERYTHING. Once again, Kampy is seeing man to man and makes FOOLS of the people trying to block him. He finishes the season with 16 sacks.

Packers end the year +150 in points. No SB, but when the season after this one starts, all the talking heads are predicting the Packers as the team to beat the next year (and for once, they're right).

Bold Prediction.

The Packers will go un-defeated next year in NFC North Division games, which will include a 2-0 mark against a former Packer Q.B.

Predictions? Well, I don't know about the bold part, but here goes:

1 ) On draft day, we'll trade down from #9 to #15 or so, and pick up a 2nd in the process. Our first round pick will be at a position of strength, amidst much wailing and gnashing of teeth by the Packer faithful.
2 ) We will (gulp) draft a punter.
3 ) Breno Giacomini and Allen Barbre will have fantastic camps.
4 ) Cliffy will be released and Tauscher will leave during free agency. Our Week 1 offensive line will be Colledge, Sitton, Spitz, Barbe and Giacomini.
5 ) Ted Thompson will sign a free agent DE, but it won't be Julius Peppers. Bertrand Berry, maybe.
6 ) MM will open the offense up a little, and Aaron Rodgers will finish in the top 5 in most categories.
7 ) James Jones will emerge as one of the best #3 receivers in the league.
8 ) Whomever the new DC is, the defense will respond and be significantly better than in 2008.
9 ) Someone will make Ted Thompson an offer he can't refuse, and Al Harris will be traded.
10) We will retake the North.

I have a hard time remembering that this is the only thing that matters. Yet, at this point in time, all I can think about is our d-line woes, our o-line woes, hoping our RB's hit the ground running, WR's staying healthy, d-backs (!) staying healthy, big numbers for rodgers.....
