I wish all of that stuff would happen....

I don't know about Tony Gonzalez though...he's getting old and we would have to get rid of one of the three of our TEs already. It would probably be Torey Humphrey. I wouldn't want to get rid of Lee or Finley. If we were going for a good TE, we could probably find some good talent early in this year's draft. (No, not 1st round, by ANY means)

I would trade a 2nd for Tony G and release or trade Donald Lee.

I think Jermichael Finley possess some scary talent, but he needs to mature and a player like Tony G would be a good influence on him. Sounds like I'm talking about a little kid or something, but it's true. Think Cris Carter and Randy Moss.

As for the topic

I really don't have any bold predictions.

I don't think Ted Thompson is going to sign any big name free agents. That's not bold though.

Julius Peppers will be franchised in my opinion so it would have to be a trade like Minnesota made to get Jared Allen.

The closes thing I have to a bold prediction is I think Green Bay is going to release Chad Clifton and not resign Mark Tauscher. I think the Packers are going to have two new tackles.

ditto on the two new tackles. I think one of them will be tony moll. I think the other might be darryn colledge. not what i want, but i think that's what is going to happen. yes, tony moll will be our starting RT next year. Yes, Colledge will be our starting LT.

I'd like to see ted go after jordan gross, but there are so many teams with so much cap space next year....

Finley has a lot of growing up to do, but that is good news. at least he's a dumb kid and has room to grow. better than a dumb adult.

BOLD prediction. hmmmm... three 1,000 yard receivers in 2009.

If only 30 TDs and 16 interceptions would get you anywhere close to an MVP. Meh ... I guess it fluctuates from year to year.

Favre in '07: 4,155 yards, 28 TDs, 15 INT
Brees in '08: 5,069 yards, 34 TDs, 17 INT
Rodgers in '09: 1 Billion yards.

Mark it.

bold for me is,get the d-line going special teams and with the talent on the o-line you have a very good packer team that can get to the s.b the team has all around talent just need coaches not afraid to change a scheme that isn't working. In a game and keep the d-line a beast.

Bold predictions?

Desmnd Bishop starts at MLB, moving Barnett outside, if healthy.

DeShawn Wynn lights it up every time he gets the chance.

The Spitz at center, Sitton at RG combo proves to be one of the nastiest we have seen in some time!
Aaron Rodgers will STILL be chastised by a large portion of "fans" beacuse he is not #4, in spite of his extremely high level of performance.

Bozz... I will bet you a frosty cold one on the steps of Lambeau on the Moll prediction.

There will be no way upon the frozen turf that Moll wins out that job next fall.

People think Tauscher is done have underestimated the kid.. Cliffy may be replaced but both bookends will not disappear from the field this offseason..

If not Tauscher.. then it will be Colledge at Right Tackle and either one of the three franchise type tackles coming out this draft.. it might not be a extremely sexy pick at 9.. but my money is on one of those top tackles in this draft if we stay at 9.

I would go for a top rated LEFT tackle at # 9.
