The signals point to McDermott IMO in that nobody has been named and they cannot get to him till Philly loses. It appears they are willing to roll the dice on others they are considering that may get away in the mean time but my guess would be they will look elsewhere for sure if the Eagles win this week.

That would mean no decision until after Feb. 1 and they will not wait that long to make this move but the fact no clear frontrunner has emerged leads me back to McDermott being the #1 look for now.

Was Nolan the GM for the 49ers?

Imagine what would have went through Rodgers mind if we hired Nolan. He'd have the HC and the OC who passed him up in the draft as well as trying to fill the shoes of the best QB ever. lol
