Does Rodgers make it to the finals if he didnt have such shitty Qbs to go against lol.

Oh this is priceless. Who is better on the right bracket? I'm assuming your argument would be Jay Cutler, who Rodgers beats in completion %, yards per attempt, TD, INT, and doubles him in very big plays (40+ yards). And Cutler has been a starting QB in this league for 2.5 years.

You could try to make a case, but it's hardly worthy of all those "lol's" you threw into your post.

I know it pains you to hear it, but Rodgers is good.

Not to mention, Cutler is a punk.

It's sad that there are these fans who don't appreciate how cool of a QB they have playing for their team right now.

It's not even arguable that Rodgers is one of the best young QB in the league. I think it's just time for these people to tip their hats and admit that Rodgers proved them wrong and is a very good QB.

I know it's hard to do people, but please use unbiased opinions as best as you can.

To be fair, I think it's more a simple dislike for Rodgers than it is an allegiance to the previous QB. I don't get why he dislikes Rodgers, but he's about as balanced on the whole circus last offseason as anyone around here, at least when he's not yanking chains trying to get a reaction.

Oh, and he wants the Pack to draft Harrel, so having a good young QB already in place messes w/ his dream (j/k on that last part, DH).

I'm trying to imagine what it would have been like during the Favre era to have a poster (who wasn't a visiting Vikings fan) continuously belittle and criticize him any time his name was brought up in a thread. Favre is overrated lol. Favre can't finish a big game lol. Favre is the reason we didn't make the playoffs lol. I can't believe you guys think he's good lol. Here's to another 4-12 season with Favre lol.

All im saying look at the brackets Rodgers against Russell, Quinn, and Edwards. Ryan had Cutler, Flacco, and Thigpen now you tell me who had it easier in their brackets. Russell,Quin and Edwards didnt even start all their games. Thats all i'm saying and your right i won't put Rodgers up there as an great qb hell it was 16 games every dog has its day. gimmie 3 or 4 years then we can talk. Now if they took out Russell and put in Cassell in that spot i don't think Rodgers don't make it out of the 1st round.

Ummm Mass how could people say Favre couldnt finish a game i think he did it in his first chance he had. Oops sorry to put a downer on that. And to be honest with you i think we could have put just about any qb that was in the league for 3 years into our offense and they would of put up similar numbers if not better. We were behind alot this year so we had to pass the ball alot and we have a pair of good wrs. But i'm not hating on Rodgers its just my opinion on that he had the easy side of the brackets and i'm sorry im not up Rodgers ass and claiming hes the next god.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Would last years team have been 13-3 if they gave up 380 points?

"Stevetarded" wrote:

Fascinating question. How many teams have gone 13-3 after giving up more than, say, 350 points? Can anyone recommend a searchable online relational database that would make finding this data out quick and efficient?

Well, still, look at my last post. I don't know if you have an explanation for that.... I don't wanna bash you, because you're entitled to your own opinion. I'd just like an answer to the questions I asked you.

I doubt it because Ryan went thru and still is going through alot of BS in Atlanta. They did a story on how alot of the fans are still in love with Vick but then again he just went in there kept his mouth shut and didn't make commands on the fans. So Rodgers isnt the only one that had to try and win over fans and to think the team he was drafted by added a rb and a new coach. I saw people say he had a great wr in White well White wasn't a great wr last year so that says something.

Ryan deserved winning this and i'm glad he did.

Also for you Rock the systems do make a difference The Packers are a pass first scheme believe it or not and the Falcons are run first. I'm not saying Ryan is a great qb but he i think is a good young Qb just like i think Rodgers is a good young qb.

I think White was a pretty great WR last year. Those where his stats.... with all kinds of random QBs playing.

Ryan is good, don't get me wrong, but he wasn't near Rodgers if you ask me. He played good, especially for a rookie. His numbers are trailing Rodgers' in every way though. Only thing Rodgers has going for him are multiple good receivers, while Ryan has to pretty much rely on one player. He has the better O-line, Running game and one receiver who's just as good as Jennings at this point.

I don't know if you liked Ryan better this year, or that you mean he has more potential than Rodgers, because that would make some sense, I guess. I don't see how you can say Ryan has been the better QB this year looking at my previously mentioned points.

I'd really like to see some points as to why Ryan is better, because I don't want to sound like I'm just bashing on you here all the time. All I've heared so far though is just talk or false arguments.....

EDIT:

Also for you Rock the systems do make a difference The Packers are a pass first scheme believe it or not and the Falcons are run first.

"dhazer" wrote:

Yes, I know and I agree on that. He does, however, have about the same amount of ints on way less attempts. That while a run-first defense should draw defenders into the box and make it easier for the QB to complete his passes when he has to throw the ball. And like you've most likely seen yourself, they have had alot of 8 man fronts, whereas the Packers, even against the Bears, had only 6-7 man fronts.

I'm not saying Ryan is a great qb but he i think is a good young Qb just like i think Rodgers is a good young qb.

"dhazer" wrote:

It's getting somewhat hard to me to see where you stand on this point now though. If that's how you think about it, I don't know why we're making such a big deal out of it. Both are up and comming QBs. Rodgers had the better season, but there's no telling what both will do in the upcomming years. I guess we'll see in a couple of years.

beast (26m) : Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
beast (8h) : Sounds like no serious injuries from the Saints game and Jacobs and Watson should play in the Vikings game
packerfanoutwest (13h) : both games Watson missed, Packers won
Martha Careful (15h) : I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas!
Mucky Tundra (24-Dec) : Oh I know about Jacobs, I just couldn't pass up an opportunity to mimic Zero lol
buckeyepackfan (24-Dec) : Jacobs was just sat down, Watson re-injured that knee that kept him out 1 game earlier
buckeyepackfan (24-Dec) : I needed .14 that's. .14 points for the whole 4th quarter to win and go to the SB. Lol
Mucky Tundra (24-Dec) : Jacobs gonna be OK???
Zero2Cool (24-Dec) : Watson gonna be OK???
packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : Inactives tonight for the Pack: Alexander- knee Bullard - ankle Williams - quad Walker -ankle Monk Heath
packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : No Jaire, but hopefully the front 7 destroys the line of scrimmage & forces Rattler into a few passes to McKinney.
packerfanoutwest (24-Dec) : minny could be #1 seed and the Lions #5 seed
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : We'd have same Division and Conference records. Strength of schedule we edge them
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I just checked. What tie breaker?
bboystyle (23-Dec) : yes its possible but unlikely. If we do get the 5th, we face the NFCS winner
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : Ahh, ok.
bboystyle (23-Dec) : yes due to tie breaker
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I mean, unlikely, yes, but mathematically, 5th is possible by what I'm reading.
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : If Vikings lose out, Packers win out, Packers get 5th, right?
bboystyle (23-Dec) : Minny isnt going to lose out so 5th seed is out of the equation. We are playing for the 6th or 7th seed which makes no difference
Mucky Tundra (23-Dec) : beast, the ad revenue goes to the broadcast company but they gotta pay to air the game on their channel/network
beast (23-Dec) : If we win tonight the game is still relative in terms of 5th, 6th or 7th seed... win and it's 5th or 6th, lose and it's 6th or 7th
beast (23-Dec) : Mucky, I thought the ad revenue went to the broadcasting companies or the NFL, at least not directly
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I think the revenue share is moot, isn't it? That's the CBA an Salary Cap handling that.
bboystyle (23-Dec) : i mean game becomes irrelevant if we win tonight. Just a game where we are trying to play spoilers to Vikings chance at the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (23-Dec) : beast, I would guess ad revenue from more eyes watching tv
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I would think it would hurt the home team because people would have to cancel last minute maybe? i dunno
beast (23-Dec) : I agree that it's BS for fans planning on going to the game. But how does it bring in more money? I'm guessing indirectly?
packerfanoutwest (23-Dec) : bs on flexing the game....they do it for the $$league$$, not the hometown fans
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I see what you did there Mucky
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : dammit. 3:25pm
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : Packers Vikings flexed to 3:35pm
Mucky Tundra (23-Dec) : Upon receiving the news about Luke Musgrave, I immediately fell to the ground
Mucky Tundra (23-Dec) : Yeah baby!
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : LUKE MUSGRAVE PLAYING TONIGHT~!~~~~WOWHOAAOHAOAA yah
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I wanna kill new QB's ... blitz the crap out of them.
beast (23-Dec) : Barry seemed to get too conservative against new QBs, Hafley doesn't have that issue
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : However, we seem to struggle vs new QB's
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : Should be moot point, cuz Packers should win tonight.
packerfanoutwest (23-Dec) : ok I stand corrected
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : Ok, yes, you are right. I see that now how they get 7th
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : 5th - Packers win out, Vikings lose out. Maybe?
beast (23-Dec) : Saying no to the 6th lock.
beast (23-Dec) : No, with the Commanders beating the Eagles, Packers could have a good chance of 6th or 7th unless the win out
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I think if Packers win, they are locked 6th with chance for 5th.
beast (23-Dec) : But it doesn't matter, as the Packers win surely win one of their remaining games
beast (23-Dec) : This is not complex, just someone doesn't want to believe reality
beast (23-Dec) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (23-Dec) : I literally just said it.
