You know what I find funny?
Take a look at the poll to your right. You'll see a hybrid of 3-4 and 4-3 is winning, so obviously there are people on this board who are open to playing at least some 3-4 but are not speaking up for whatever reason.

If I had my druthers, I would run a base 4-3.. with some variations of some 3 man fronts as alternate looks within the game.. or for example, utilizing a unique player that we have in Rouse and use a 4-4 look with him either coming up or dropping back.. kid has unreal range for his size.. use it.
I would rather have a creative mind come in and tailor the defense to our strengths, than come in with a notion of fitting our players into "their" system.. adjust, adapt.. conquer.
