Well, you got one out of two correct on that one Gunner.

I have been on here but a short time and I had not seen much posted by Pack93z, so I went back and reviewed some of his comments and thoughts on various topics.
The man is very well versed and knowledgeable when it comes to football and in life's journey, his insight is thoughtful, wise and his perspective is pretty much "dead nuts on".

As to TexasPackerBacker, well he is long on the mouth and very short on anything of substance. Just ignorance and bigotry, a waste of skin if you will.
To put it another way, the only hope for TexasPackerBacker is if he were to have a navelplex .

Pack93z is the type of guy that you would enjoy sitting down and having a few beers with.
On the other hand, TexasPackerBacker is the type of guy that you wouldn't piss on even if he were on fire.

Don't worry, I wouldn't WANT you to piss on me hahahaha.

Of course your kind enjoys the presence of Pack93's kind who, face it, are to you what light beer is to the regular stuff.

Seriously, this "bigotry" crap gets a little bit old. It is you sick leftists who are the true bigots - in the realm of race, gathering up about 94% of black and almost as many hispanic votes, then pissing all over them in the form of supporting CRAP they those mostly good moral minorities can't stand, and also in the realm of homosexuality - pushing an agenda designed to hurt the country at THEIR expense - by that I mean THEY are the ones suffering the backlash from your shit. The few gays I know are conservative politically, and just want to be left alone in terms of their behavior - but you sick damn leftist bigots can't do that, can you?

If being called a bigot gets old try not to be one and stop pulling shit out of your ass about other people being bigots.

I love that defense, "I'm just part of the majority, it's you other people with your hidden agenda that are the bigots."

More than 50% of the people living in this country support marraige equality, how can you say you're in the majority?

It's been said before but is worth repeating, your type is a dying breed, most young people in this country are tired of the petty, empty headed fear mongering and hatred perpetrated for so long by you and your ilk.

Hey texas-
I'm not anti-christian nor am I anti-American. I'm actually quite fond of what America is supposed to be.

How can wanting everyone to share the same rights and privileges be anti-American. Isn't there something about ALL men being created equal in the Declaration of Independence?

Where's the part that says "as stated in the bible" in that document?

Come to think of it, when is the bible even mentioned in those pages? I seem to recall something about the seperation of church and state being mentioned but that must have been included in the copy that they give to anti-american losers, right?

Can you send me a copy of the TRUE CORRECT beliefs so I can be as loving and caring as someone like you?

Can you also get me some more information on the sane normal moral way to live my life? Again, I thought it had something to do with that "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" stuff. Maybe I was wrong.

I so want to be one of the Good Normal Americans, could you let me know which humans/ethnic groups/sexualities I have to hate so I can be one like you?

Or should I believe in that saying "judge not lest ye be judged"? What moron said that?

You are a christian in name only. I've been reading your drivel since you showed up and most of the time I just shake my head at your ignorance, bigotry and hatred and move on. Every so often I pipe up mostly to amuse myself. Then I go back to reading some fun and entertaining takes on my favorite football team from some pretty funny and passionate fans. You can call me a loser or anti-christian or anti-american all you want, it makes no difference to me. I just revel in the fact that I've never once said anything as hateful or ignorant or bigoted and then hid behind a book to justify my beliefs.

I'll save the postage, and just tell you to stop by the nearest cheap motel (or church) to pick up that copy of true and correct beliefs.

Actually, most of what I would reply to you I covered in a couple of posts above. You talk about what America is "supposed to be" - spoken like a true God damned CHANGE MONGER - wanting to take the greatest country in the world - responsible for virtually all that is good in the world, and the ONLY force standing between that GOOD and the evil that is out there, and you guys want to CHANGE it - drag down America in a dozen different ways - including, but certainly not limited to the topic of this thread.

I'm here to tell you, it ain't gonna happen. You leftist loons appear to have a majority - at least among the speaking members in this small venue, and you certainly have the propagandists of the mainstream media and the education establishments advancing your shit, but the next couple of elections will tell the tale. I'm content to wait for those results - how about you?

I just do not see why two women or two men cannot marry. It's one thing to disagree with it, but ignorant to say who can and cannot get married predicated on YOUR religious beliefs. It is about them, not you.

Perfectly content to wait, I have no fear of the elections. The politicians only do what the masses want in the end anyway.

To think that gay marriage bans all over the country are falling like leaves, and so quickly, is very hopeful to me and I'm quite shocked with the rapidity with which they are falling.

In a couple of years the backwards drug laws with be a thing of the past too.

And I prefer to think of it as progress, not change. If you aren't progressing you're just treading water and you'll eventually drown. So keep fighting change all you want, you'll be gone quicker!

And your silly little book, with its plagiarized and bastardized content holds no sway over me. I'm a free thinking, tolerant and caring individual who has no fear of death cuz I don't need to be bullied and beaten with the threat of eternal damnation from a so called "loving" god that is less about love than he is about obedience.

America has very little moral high ground to stand upon these days, here's to hoping we return to what America is supposed to be.

What God wants from us is faith. The obedience comes after. It is something we strive to do because of our faith and trust in his love. Not because he has threatened us with eternal damnation for our failure to obey him.

Without faith, we are damned. Period. Regardless of what part of the Law we choose to obey or not. We are born doomed to die. And having died, to eternally be worm food.

We who have decided to have faith in Him strive to obey Him, not because we believe that obedience will save us. We obey Him because we want to reciprocate a small part of his incredible loving sacrifice for us.

I know its just a part of that silly little book, but you might want to think on the attitude reflected by verses such as Romans 1: 1-5.

Grace came first. We did nothing to deserve it. That's why it's called grace.

Then faith.

Then obedience. Or at least our attempts at it. We all still fall horribly short, of course.

But that doesn't lose us the grace.

I leave my replies regarding the "plagiarized" and "bastardized" comments for another time.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Wade-

Your faith is just that, yours. Feel free to keep it any way you want but leave me out of it. I live in a world where faith has gotten a lot of people absolutely bupkiss.

That is the beauty of the constitution:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Here's another word for you: indoctrination. You were born, I'm assuming, of Christian parents who taught you at a young age to believe and respect their religious views. Deny all you want but that is the basis of your religious beliefs and nothing more. Indoctrination. I was brought up Catholic and chose to want more than faith. That is my choice.

Throughout history there have been more than 3,000 gods and goddesses worshipped all around the world. The arrogance and hubris that goes with thinking that the god your parents raised you to believe in is the one true god is laughable at best. What happens if you're born in India? Egypt? Israel? China? America before Europe found it? But the one you believe in is the true god?

Don't get me wrong, the bible has many important and helpful things to say and teach. But in my mind is not the word of any one god but the amalgamation of centuries of human experiences and accumulated knowledge.

My beef is that throughout recent history, different sects and religions have been standing in the way of true progress. Not only in truly backwards and extreme nations but right here at home.

Time to move on.
