Jets had their choice for Safety during the most recent NFL Draft.

Calvin Pryor or Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix.

I took the guy who will knock your face in,

When all but a tiny handful of teams are the opponent, it's not about them so much as it's all about how the Packers play that determines things. This is a bounce-back game - at home - I expect a big Packer win.

As for HCD and his own particular bulletin board material - oh OK, call it Twitter hahahaha, I hope he rubs the Jets noses in it. I, for one, was on record from the beginning advocating taking him in the draft. He's looking like a good choice by an increasing margin.

I'm hoping Nick Perry and Josh Boyd see more snaps this game. I thought both of those guys looked better against the Seahawks than the player getting the most snaps ahead of them. Also hoping to see more of HHCD and hope Janis is active. Also let Barrington get some reps and lets see if he can bring some pain to these RBs.

Will be interesting to see who that LB will be Sunday.

Maybe The Packers have worked Barrington in just those situations during practice this week.

Would be a way to get him on the field, without putting to much on his plate.

He is just in his 2nd year.

Time to start getting him some work on defense, if he is the dime LB, he should get at least 20 plays maybe more depending on what The Jets do on offense.

Jets played the Raiders and in that game they were only able to pull out one touchdown. Their individual stats look impressive...unless you know a little about the team they played. One touchdown against the Raiders isn't a very good thing. Sorry, it took me a minute to get over the fact that Geno Smith is statistically better than Rodgers at the moment. Moving on.

Glad Bulaga is practicing again but I am at a crossroads here. While he was practicing, all reports said he was favoring the injured leg and walking gingerly on it. So, knowing the opponent...do the Packers give Bulaga another week to rest against a better defensive line and unit overall (Lions)? Is a 75% Bulaga better than a 100% Sherrod?

Glad Lacy's chances of playing are looking good. While I have total faith in the run game with Starks and Harris, Lacy just adds that piece that should keep the Jets on their heels.

Rodgers really needs to come out a different player this game and I believe he will. They are playing against a week secondary (even if Millner is back) and I expect Rodgers to have better decision making against this group.

Defense just scares me this game and I think they will the rest of the season. Brad Jones is hurt and I feel bad saying this, I hope he stays hurt at least for this week so Capers can plug in Lattimore and see what he has. The Jets run that read option and it makes me nervous that the defense still isn't disciplined enough to read or contain the plays run out of this scheme. The one player I have faith in is Matthews. I believe our secondary can keep Geno from having a good passing game. Outside of Eric Decker, the other receivers are mediocre.

I picked this as a win earlier, and I'll stay with that.

GB: 22
NYJ: 20

Mason Crosby with 5 FGs in an ugly game.

Aaron Rodgers hasn't lost back to back games since 2010 against Redskins and Dolphins. Even though I certainly jinxed them, I'm going to go with.

Packers 33
Jets 17

And the game won't be as close as the score indicates.

Packers have to tackle better and stop the run. Turning the game into Capers vs. Geno Smith works in Green Bay's favor. Need to watch out for Geno's legs, as well.

Offensively balance would be nice, but the Jets have a very good run defense. They have some studs up front, so it might be a challenging day. Rex Ryan typically employs aggressive defense, so blitz pickup will be important.

If Green Bay can force a couple of turnovers and not let the Jets run wild, Green Bay should be in control. Pack take this 27-20.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
