we are definitely in different universes. Im a fan who is fun and supportive. You are a sad little man who just joined this forum. You spew outlandish statements in the hopes of an I told you so after the fact. After the season is over and all your ridiculous predictions are proven false you will fade into the nether like so many before you. But Packer Nation, and Packershome will live on.

Well. Boykin ran a 4.74. Jerry Rice ran a 4.71. If Boykin is slow, so to Jerry Rice be. according to your scouting metrics.

Now, let's look at Boykin's 40 time recorded at the combine. 4.74. This from his draft bio on NFL.com...the very first sentence: Boykin is an athletic receiver with a ton of size. He is a slow mover who is not taking the top off any NFL defenses, but his long strides make him look fluid in the open field running intermediate routes.

In fact, he was so slow that there was only ONE WR who ran a worse time than Boykin in 4 years of combine timing of WR's. Yet, here you are arguing with me about Jerry Rice's 40 time meaning that Jarrett isn't slow?

Wow. Jarrett is slow. Show me something that says or proves that he isn't. I like the guy...he's just slow. I'm sorry that is a non supportive statement, but it's the truth, which is what I prefer.

From Alshon Jeffery's nfl.com draft bio : Jeffery is an elite jump-ball prospect, but he does not stand out as fast on tape and is such a long strider that at times he looks to be moving in slow motion

Reality is Jarrett Boykin is a nice WR who is slow. You act like I insulted you mom who thinks highly of you.

You make wild allegations about what I'm doing here. I don't make statements for any I told you so's down the road. That is you making things up to make arguments that don't exist unless you conjure them. I won't fade into any netherland. I don't derive self worth from being right on a football forum nor do I feel any shame if my opinion turns out to be wrong. Again, different universes. I won't leave, but I may be censored long before we get to the end of the season.

Be fun...be supportive. That's great. Let me be what I am....that sad little man you think I am. Another wrong charge, but I don't really mind.

From Jordy Nelsons nfl.com draft bio : A better athlete than given credit for, but isn't the elite athlete his senior production may have you believe. ... Good route-runner, but lacks explosiveness out of his breaks and elite deep ball speed. ... Primary target in this offense, receiving more than twice as many passes his way than any other Wildcat receiver. ... Big play artist for KSU, but may lack the acceleration to be anything more than a possession receiver at the next level

BTW, do you know what point you're trying to make?

From Randall Cobb's nfl.com draft bio : Does not possesses great top-end speed and not overly elusive in the open field. Does not have the strength and power to carry the load or push the pile. Only possesses adequate overall ball skills as a receiver. Struggles to sustain his blocks.

My point is that Boykin is not slow. He runs like everyone else is standing still!

Boykin is slow. There's no other way to describe his speed or lack of it.

Will be very fun to see what happens at WR. I can support that.

On that we can agree my friend. Should be a very solid top 4. Now we just need a TE to step up.
