It is not about the game anymore.

The list of comps sought by the NFL is so brazen it borders on the obscene.

How about free access to three “top quality” golf courses in the summer and fall leading up to the Super Bowl?

How about free curb-side parking outside a “high-end, exclusive drop-in hospitality facility for our most valued and influential guests to meet, unwind, network and conduct business?”

How about the local police providing, at no cost to the NFL, anti-counterfeit enforcement teams focused on tickets and merchandise?

The NFL requested as many as “two top-quality bowling venues” had to be reserved at no cost to the league for a celebrity event.
