Hopefully, Colt loves his limited choices. Perhaps, he'll get into fishing. Not sure he can be a firearm owner with his record so hunting might be out for him.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

From the interview I saw from him, it seems he is really trying to fit in in Green bay.

I just hope the media clowns give him a little space and let him do what he came here to do...PLAY FOOTBALL!

I'm sure Ted and Mike had a long conversation with him regarding what was expected of him and that he would probably be under the microscope giving his past.

This guy could be the steal of the century, but it is completely up to him, talent is not the question, character is, and it seems, for now anyway, he gets it.

Let's hope he continues to work hard, keeps his nose clean, and become part of The Packer Team.

Regardless of all other factors, there is a substantial segment of the population that would never want to live in the climate of Green Bay and lots of the midwest. It's just too cold for some. A lot of people love bright sun, hot beaches, swimsuits, etc. Others love mountains, white water rivers, etc. There are places that offer those things, some with only a very mild "winter," if any. I personally love to VISIT Green Bay and think it's a great place, but I would not want to live there. It's just too cold, flat, and gray for me. There is spectacular beauty (I love the lake coast, Sturgeon Bay, etc.) and periods of nice weather, but that's the case for almost anywhere. Very few places on earth offer zero natural beauty or outdoor activities, especially those that are large enough to have an NFL team. Even the desert is incredibly beautiful once one learns to appreciate it.

I would certainly live there if I was paid an NFL salary, but I'd probably be staying elsewhere for most the off season. I'm sure a lot of athletes feel like if it's going to be cold and such, there should at least be a big city like Chicago, Minneapolis, and others. Sure, there are "things" to do in Green Bay, as there is everywhere else. But some people just love cities. To each their own, I suppose.

Plus, most of these athletes are looking for hot chicks. I have never gone chick hunting in Green Bay, but I gotta believe it's pretty sparse compared to other cities and that's a problem for these guys. There should be a push to make Green Bay a more diverse city with hotter women. :)

If your definition of a"hot chick" is someone who will bang you 5 minutes after meeting you in a bar then I hope there are not as many in Green Bay.

If your definition of a "hot chick" is a very attractive woman then there are plenty in Green Bay. Larger cities may have more but they have more people in general so it stands to reason there would be more attractive people.

There is also more competition. Go to Chicago and besides the Bears you have two pro baseball teams (well, 1 pro team and the Cubs) a Basketball team and a Hockey team. Hot chicks looking for athletes have many to choose from. If you are a pro athlete in Green Bay you are the only game in town. If you play for the Packers and you have a problem getting laid it's probably not because there are no "hot chicks"

I would say GB is ideal for a kid like Lyerla for 2 reasons...fewer distractions (as mentioned above) and that no one on the planet adores and connects with its team like Packers fans do. For someone struggling to find himself and in need of support, what better place could there be?

There is a reason the Lambeau Leap was invented here.

The Packers want football players, not club rats. Those guys have between February and July to go sew their oats. If they need women, I suggest they bring one up with them if the Sconi girls aren't good enough.

Not sure what you meant by "you say that like it's a bad thing" I said I think its a good thing that Green Bay isn't overrun with hussy's. As far as wanting football players and not club rats I'm pretty sure every team wants that. Oh, that's right, I forgot, The Green Bay Packers are the only team in professional sports that wants decent characters.

Martha Careful (14-Sep) : Wisconsin football stinks. OL good, Pauling good. all else MEH
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Jordan Love downgraded to doubtful for tomorrow's game
Zero2Cool (14-Sep) : Sean Clifford just got called up. No Love tomorrow. No shock either.
Mucky Tundra (13-Sep) : I know it's probably to mess with the Colts but I'm just huffing copium honestly
Mucky Tundra (13-Sep) : So you're saying there's *a chance*?
