Worthy tragedy 
Grandfather accidentally shot grandmother

Married for (or more than) 50 years. I hope they do not press any charges. I can't imagine anything the "law" could do would be more punishment than what he has to live with the rest of his life.

“It went through the bedroom wall, down into the opposite end of the house and it just happened to strike her while she was sitting on the couch,” Huber Heights police Lt. Matt Dulaney said. “The evidence is in line with his story as to what he’s telling us. . . . it does appear that it is an accidental shooting.”

Normally I'd say at least charge the guy with negligent handling of a firearm (if it's loaded and the safety's off, you'd better be in a situation where you're probably going to use it) but considering his age, I'm split. Guns are dangerous. Those that can't handle them responsibly shouldn't have them.

I couldn't even begin to imagine how the grandfather or the Worthy family are feeling after something like this.

What are the chances of something like that happening...my gosh.
