Well now that next year has become this year.

I can honestly say I feel good about this year.

I believe we can win the NFC North in 2009 if we correct 3 things.
1. Our Offensive and defensive line woes.... quality depth is an issue to me. You didn't see guys like Thompson and Cole make an impact in the rotation on defense and Tony Moll did very little when called upon on offense.
2. Clean up the penalties and stupid mistakes.... it's those little things that make the difference.
3. Special teams...from punting to coverage .

Do that and where back at the top again.

O-line and D-line count as one item? lol

I didn't want to get long winded lol...so in this case yeah .

I feel confident about next year.
I don't think we are really that afr away from being a top echelon team.
I was always confident in the 70's and 80's and I think we are in alot better shape to succeed than we were back then.

Depends what we do in the offseason. We're one good pass rusher away from being a playoff team.

From 1971 until around 1992 the Packers were non contenders.Well their was a short stint with Majk at the helm but other than that they were pretty non exhistent. this is why I have so much more respect for the 30 year-old and up Packers fans that were there rooting for them before the Favre/Superbowl era and have continued to support their team even in his absence. True fans....true fans!
