Clay played LOLB in 2010 and had perhaps his best season. I don't think there would be any dropoff.

I doubt Perry has the coverage skills to replace Jones.

Jones has been OK but he isn't anything special in coverage and both Perry and Clay have more physical talent than he does. Much of what we hear about is getting the best athletes on the field and let them make plays. Perhaps, we could have Perry and Clay both on the field and let them shift back and forth between ROLB and ILB, Clay has lined up and rushed from the middle of the field on occasion also.

I could easily see Perry being part of a draft day trade with OAK. Very easily. OAK has picked 5, 36 and 67 in the first 3 rounds. OAK is going to want to trade down for more picks/players. I could see Perry being packaged in a deal.
