Lets be honest here... the Bears stopped a number of the Packers running plays.

The running game didn't seem to be going as well as it normally does for what ever reason.

And a couple running plays on short yardage didn't seem to work.

Going into Sunday's game, Green Bay was tops in the NFL in successfully running the ball for first down on 3rd or 4th and 2 yards or less (or scoring a TD on runs of 2 yards or less).



Green Bay's power success rating was 87% going into Sunday's game, #1 in the NFL. Minnesota was second, with 79%.

The statistics at the bottom of the page would also tend to indicate we should be running it between the tackles (4.5 yds/carry) vs tossing it around the end (3.5 yards/carry).

Add me to the WTF crowd on the first 3rd and 1 of the second half. You run the ball for 9 yards in the first two plays, at least line up like a run on 3rd and 1 is possible. But so many times this year, we go either empty backfield, or Kuhn left in to block.

I wouldn't mind passing as long as we make the defense honor the run. First, 3rd and 1, NEVER should we be in shotgun. Leave Rodgers or who ever is playing QB under center where the defense has to worry about a possible QB sneak. Leave a RB lined up that can run the ball. Spread the rest of the WR out fine. I'm sick of not even making the run a threat most of all.
