Hopefully McCarthy finally learned, that his offense is capable of running the ball on 3rd and short. That 3rd and short in the 3rd quarter where he passed the ball, then punted to Hester and then the D gives up an easy TD in 3 plays. Thought that was the game, but #12 saves McCarthy's ass once again. I just wish he would stick to his HC duties and get rid of that clip board and let the OC call the plays.

I was complaing about this too... UNTIL MM tried to run it up the middle and they got no where.

I don't know how but the Bears were clogging up the middle very well and the Packers were struggling to get a running game going on short yardage plays.

Bears seem to be improving, Packers need to get better line play on both sides of the ball (better Safety and TE play as well).

The real problem with the running game today was Lacy was obviously hobbled but they kept forcing him the ball while Starks was averaging like 7 or 8 yards a carry. I'm all for pounding the ball with Lacy but the guy was obviously hurting and it was hurting the team.

He did do a great job of running the ball on the next series. It seems that he sometimes tries to outsmart his opponent instead of just going with the most logical play.

I know on one 3rd down MM telegraphed what we were doing pretty easily.

When we lined up both me and a friend told each other "toss right"

And whudduh you know... The Bears stuffed it.

Just sayin'

I'm just puzzled as to why the hell we aren't handing the ball off from under center. That's what we were doing with the backup quarterbacks, and it was working. What, does Aaron just prefer to hand off from the shotgun or using tosses as our main setups for runs? Because that's gimmicky and it doesn't work.
