Mike Neal is smart enough to know he can’t fill Clay Matthews’ shoes, and AndyMulumba wouldn’t presume to even think it, but together the two Green Bay Packers outside linebackers are going to have to do the job Matthews is paid $13.2 million per year to do.

Is Perry available or isn't he? If he is, the obvious move is put him at right OLB with Neal and Mulumba on the left.

He's coming on as an OLB though.

Yep. And even Neal is still nursing his ab injury he suffered earlier in the year.

I was just thinking about this and look at our top 2 paid players and then look at how many games they have played. I am actually thinking we should try trading off Mathews and see what we can get to clear up some cap space.

He has played all 16 games once in his career and that was as a rookie.


2009 16
2010 15
2011 15
2012 12 games and gets a huge contract extension after
2013 he will finish with 11 games

and its over a thumb seriously Favre had a broken thumb and played qb with it on his throwing hand.

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
