No one here has hit on the #1 reason for all the speculation.
I am betting that if it were up to EVERY NFL team, they would prefer not to release an injury report to the public.
Since it is required by The NFL, every team does it, some try to release shady reports, but usually get a call from the Comish and end up getting fined.
Others do just the opposite, they will list every hangnail a player has just to piss off the league.
I remember the one year Brady was on the injury list every week(shoulder), he was listed as probable, but since he had absorbed a hit on his shoulder and missed a couple of series, Bellicheck threw a fit and decided to list him every week.
One would think the injury report is for the fans and the opposing teams, so everyone knows who is and who isn't healthy.
All you have to do is follow the money, to figure out the real reason teams are required to submit an injury list every week.
Like it or not. That injury list is mostly for The Boys in Vegas.
Few players will swing a game more than a point one way or the other.
Just happens The Packers have one of the guys who can swing a point spread by 5 or 6.
Someone said it best earlier, not a whole lot we as fans can do except wait until later today for the answer, but that answer will come....YOU CAN BET ON IT!!!!

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!
