Spot #3 - First Round Home Field Advantage

Case 1
Packers beat the Steelers, and
Packers beat the Bears, and
Bears beat the Eagles

Case 2
Packers beat the Steelers, and
Packers beat the Bears, and
Cowboys beat the Eagles

Spot #4 - First Round Home Field Advantage

Case 1
Packers beat the Steelers, and
Packers beat the Bears

Case 2
Packers beat the Bears, and
Giants beat the Lions, and
Eagles beat the Bears

Case 3
Packers beat the Bears, and
Eagles beat the Bears, and
Vikings beat the Lions

Using Power Rankings as the factor...

NFC
1-Seahawks
2-Panthers
3-Packers
4-Eagles
5-49ers
6-Saints

Wild Card
Saints at Packers and the Saints have been garbage at home.
49ers would beat @ Eagles

Divisional
Packers at Seahawks
49ers at Carolina

Championship
49ers at Packers

CRAZY...

It's nice to see that it is finally back within our control. No more help required, just win the next 2 and we're in.

As for playoff probabilities, footballoutsiders  say:

Team.. Rec ... #3 ........ #4 ........... DIV
CHI ... 8-6 ..... 36.2% ...24.9%..... 61.1%
DET ... 7-7 ..... 4.1% ....15.8% .....19.9%
GB ..... 7-6-1... 8.9% ....10.0%..... 19.0%
MIN ... 4-9-1... 0.0% .....0.0% ......0.0%

Seed 4 is the only position the Packers can get.

Beat the Bears & home field first round, against the highest ranked wild card team:

Carolina or Saints
Seattle or 49ers or Cardinals

Any of those would be a tough game. We need AR back by that first round of playoffs.

I just posted this in "confidence thread", seems it applies here more.

The Packers win out, not only will there be a good chance they will win their division, but there is a pretty good chance they will be the #3 seed.

All depends on what Philly does it's last 3 games, Packers beat The Boys Sunday, that will all but eliminate them from the playoff race.

All speculation, but if you run the numbers, the odds are getting better for The Packers every time they win a game.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/machine

Edit: I'll post this again, The Packers can finish 8-7-1 and win The Division, but would like to see them going into The playoffs with a 4 game winning streak.
The real shocker is if The Lions lose to The Ravens and Giants and The Bears lose to The Browns and Philly, The Packers would have the division locked up after week 16 with wins over Dallas and Pittsburgh.

The could actually rest guys week 17 against The Bears.

dfosterf (11h) : PFOW Out of our division would be a good thing imo
Zero2Cool (12h) : Jameson Williams is done at 24 years old? What? He's a WR, not QB. I'm missing something here haha
wpr (12h) : Tomorrow is almost here.
packerfanoutwest (13h) : would you want him if Pack needed a back up qb?
packerfanoutwest (13h) : JW is done......stick a fork in him
Zero2Cool (15h) : You should. He goes to AFC that helps Packers.
packerfanoutwest (23-Apr) : don't care
Zero2Cool (22-Apr) : Lions shopping Jameson Williams?
packerfanoutwest (22-Apr) : Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst says Green Bay’s roster can win, even without adding anyone in the draft.

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
