I've heard of some people talking about safeties...there's a pretty good one from Va. Tech. His name is Cam Chancellor, #17. He's a Junior. Somebody can look him up if they'd like...I don't feel like it at the moment.

I would guess that Tebow will elect not to come out if he becomes reasonably sure that he will not be picked until the third or fourth round. Even if that's what the scouts think now, I find it a bit difficult to believe he would really fall that far. Heck, even Ted Ginn, Jr. was picked in the first round when Brady Quinn was still on the board. I have to think some team would be intrigued enough to take a flyer on such a potentially versatile player. As dhazer points out, if he lives up to potential, he could free up a roster spot -- or two -- to shore up other positions.

We have a draft tracker thread as far as draft position goes, and I think it has us at the 9th spot. I have also seen several mock drafts this morning putting us in the 9th spot.

I think that this information is wrong. I think that as of right now (SUN AM)

WE ARE IN THE 8TH SPOT.
Also, what is up for grabs today for us is no longer between 8,9, or 10

It is NOW between 5 and 10

This is quite different, isn't it?

I hope we get the 5 spot...unless that requires us to lose to the lions.

We have a better w-l record, Krazy. IF we were tied, the tie-breaker in the draft is not head-to-head competition. The 1st tie-breaker is strength of schedule.
